The company, whose headquarters are located in Castelfranco Emilia, near Modena, Italy, boasts a modern new factory spread over 6000 m2, designed and built to anti-seismic standards, with an annual production capacity of 1000 units.
Specific software is employed to control the various areas, like the production warehouse which uses a program that allows just-in-time management of materials and components. In addition, the factory benefits from an IT system that interfaces with assembly operatives, who input their ID and the time employed for each machine at a given workstation on the production line, before carrying out end-of-assembly checks directly on line and flagging up any problems. The system also features support and utility functions, as operatives can view technical drawings and assembly instructions on large touchscreen displays.
The factory houses 2 moving assembly lines dedicated to Magni products, a series of islands for pre-assembly of the various sub-assemblies plus a finishing and final inspection department. Quality control starts with incoming goods, extending all the way to stringent control of outgoing products conducted by qualified personnel on behalf of the customer.
