Twin Power 400V: expanding the operating potential of Magni RTH rotating telehandlers

Operating indoors, in urban environments or on jobsites where engine emissions are restricted calls for equipment that delivers maximum performance while meeting increasingly demanding environmental requirements. Twin Power 400V is the ideal solution, enabling Magni TH rotating telehandlers (RTH) to perform lifting operations using an external electrical power supply, without running the diesel engine.

Full electric operation for lifting activities

Once the machine has been positioned and fully stabilised, Twin Power is connected to an external 400 V power supply. From that point on, the operator can carry out standard lifting, handling and load positioning operations using electric power only.

By eliminating the need to run the diesel engine during operation, Twin Power produces zero direct CO₂ emissions and significantly reduces noise levels. This makes it particularly suitable for indoor applications, industrial plants, warehouses and infrastructure projects, as well as urban jobsites and environmentally sensitive areas where low-emission, low-noise equipment is essential.

Unlimited working time with external power

Unlike battery-powered machines, Twin Power is not limited by battery capacity. As long as the machine remains connected to the external power source, it can continue operating without interruption, making it the ideal choice for extended working cycles.

The system is equipped with a 15 kW electric motor featuring soft-start function, combined with a 60 l piston pump to deliver smooth, reliable and consistent hydraulic performance throughout every lifting operation.

The soft-start function gradually powers up the electric motor, reducing inrush current and ensuring smooth system start-up while protecting the electrical network.

One system, multiple RTH models

Twin Power is available for all compatible rotating telehandlers. The unit is also interchangeable across most of the models in the RTH range, allowing a single Twin Power system to be used on multiple machines within the same fleet.

This versatility gives operators greater flexibility to adapt each machine to the specific requirements of the jobsite, switching from diesel to electric operation whenever working conditions require it.
